OUR STORY
It started with two friends in Paris.
Two childhood friends, one big idea.
We were walking through Maison&Objet, surrounded by beautiful things made by people who truly cared about them. We kept saying the same thing: why is it so hard to find these makers back home?
We dreamed of one place that would connect them with the people who'd love their work.
A word no language owns.
With Italian friends, we played with sounds until one felt right. coco: natural, soft and warm, like a little kiss. lele: light, almost a melody.
We registered the domain right away. Then life happened, and the idea waited.
I never stopped looking.
Since 2020 I've been paying much closer attention to how my family lives: what we eat, what we wear, what we sleep on. As an interior designer, I was searching for honest materials for my clients. As a mum, I was doing the same at home.
I found wonderful brands along the way. Then I'd forget them, or lose the link. And I kept sending the same names to clients and friends, again and again.
Four years later, it all has a home.
All those names I kept passing on are finally in one place: the one we dreamed about in Paris, under the name that had been waiting all along.
That place is coco-lele. I'll keep adding to it as I find more, and it's open to everyone looking for the same thing.
