This policy explains what personal data coco-lele collects and why. coco-lele is run by Maria Germanova (eenmanszaak), Rotterdam, the Netherlands, KVK 42190863. Contact: info@coco-lele.com. We are the controller of your data under the GDPR (AVG).

coco-lele does not sell products

We don't take orders or payments. When you click through to a shop and buy something, that shop processes your order and payment data under its own privacy policy.

What we collect

  • Newsletter. If you sign up, we store your email address to send you new finds. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
  • Messages. If you email us, we use your message and email address to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
  • Visits. Our site runs on Shopify, which records technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, to keep the site working and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website.
  • Affiliate and analytics cookies. Only with your consent through the cookie banner (see below).

Cookies

  • Necessary cookies keep the site working, for example remembering your cookie choice. These don't need consent.
  • Affiliate cookies are placed by affiliate networks (such as Daisycon) and by the shops we link to, so they can see that a purchase came via coco-lele. They are placed only after you agree.
  • Analytics cookies help us see which pages are used. They are placed only after you agree.

You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.

Who we share data with

  • Shopify, which hosts our site and newsletter sign-ups.
  • Affiliate networks and shops, only through cookies you have agreed to.

We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU; when they do, they use safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

Newsletter addresses: until you unsubscribe. Emails: as long as needed to answer you, and no longer than two years after our last contact.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Write to info@coco-lele.com. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
